Surreal, romantically decadent moods create a dreamy, eccentric aesthetic in which the creative narrative focuses on the essential role of the shoe as an expression of unique and distinctive style: this is the concept behind the Sergio Rossi Men’s Collection Fall Winter 2014-15.

Angelo Ruggeri, Collections and Design Director, reinterprets the stylistic elements of the brand known for its elegance and artisan craftsmanship through a surreal filter, creating an unconventional aesthetic world in which two contrasting yet complementary dimensions communicate: refined Dandyism and rebellious Goth Rock.

The first is expressed through footwear with sleek, delicate lines. Masculine solidity is veiled in poetic nuances accentuated by refined materials and details, as in the Roger in velvety flocked suede with crystal embellishment or slippers in astrakhan or with a grosgrain bow.

The second is represented by shoes with distinctive volumes and soles. They are made of shiny brush-off leather or, in more eccentric version, spotted ponyhair leather. Classic masculine brogues have silvery touches created by metal studs and eyelets, while zipper and biker details shine on Beatle boots and monk strap shoes.

The color palette defines and completes this dreamy imaginary world with sophisticated nuances, where midnight blue and ruby red are used to give black a dazzling touch.

Sergio Rossi portrays a contemporary man with sophisticated, unconventional style whose footwear is his most expressive accessory.
