Who has inspired you in your life and why?
Diana Vishneva and my grandmother.
Diana Vishneva is a legendary Russian ballerina. I was immediately inspired by her and I admire her deeply. Since my childhood I have looked up to her for her love and passion for ballet, her strength and her incredible gift. Her daily outfits are fashionable and sophisticated. Many ballerinas are not into fashion but seems to enjoy her life in every single aspect.
The other person is my grandmother.
She raised her children by herself without asking anyone for help, and as soon as I was born, I was brought to her and raised by her. She taught me many things and even though a lot more to learn, one day, I want to be as strong, sophisticated and beautiful as she is.

How did you turn your vision into reality?
By trusting my instinct and never being afraid of trying.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I’ve always wanted to be a dancer.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My mother, who had an incredible impact on my life. Always encouraging me to push boundaries and step outside of my comfort zone. She often talked to me about cultures, arts and philosophical stories. And when I didn’t understand she’d encourage me to catch up! Her sense of arts, fashion, films and books was fantastic and I feel like I have always been looking up to her.
Of course, her influence affected me to choose my path to be a jeweler.

How did you turn your vision into reality?
By taking notes and creating many sketches.
I always carry my colour pencils around anywhere I go because I constantly get ideas from everywhere.
My studio has many boxes filled with my notebooks and sketch books from childhood which I still cherish. I often look back at them.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
An artist or a creator.
I’ve always known without a doubt I would become a person who creates things.
